The sun appears suddenly and briefly from behind its dark covering of clouds just minutes before it sinks below the horizon. Like heated metal, fiery in a fierce furnace of red; bewitching just enough, I pause, hushed, the crickets murmurs nothing. A perspective granted briefly that turns my head.
